Western Australia, the Western Experience !!!

First and only major city in Western Australia, Perth!
Finally we arrived, we joined the happy English guy, Princess Zoe and Jim with their Backpack not far from the beach. We settled there with the van and take advantage of the hostel showers. The visit of Perth is quick, I took the opportunity to take my return ticket to France with a stopover of 10 days for a vacation well deserved, is not it?
Perth is also the opportunity to find heads known. Sukmin the friend i met in Thailand who came to Australia for a year or two. One stone, two birds, I found Phillip, a German guy met with Remi on Adelaide. This is an opportunity to do big party all together.
Perth is also the end of the trip van with Remi, he sells it to two Australian women who invite us to share an evening together. For my part, I am looking for someone who wants to share the costs of road to get the North .. Finally I agree with Julian, a French (friends of Fabian).
It is therefore the departure from Perth, with two others, Japanese ... the end of the trip is scheduled to Carnarvon where Julian and Japanese (Jumpei and Yu me Mi) must find work. Remi is left with Fedi, Italian friend.
In the afternoon we arrive at the Pinnacle, a strange formation of limestone origin currently unknown to science in the middle of a desert sand. Two explanations:
- Accumulations of limestone when the sea covered the land
- Trees by fossilized limestone
The night we found a campsite free route before leaving Australia for the next few hours.
The next day on the road (Geraldton), you meet Cecile and Fabien going, like us, to the Hutt River Province. Hutt River, is a principality founded by Leonard Casley which seceded Commonwealth of Australia in 1970 to protest against quotas imposed by the government. Hutt Province is the second country of Australia with its own currency, its own stamps, his passport ... We therefore went to meet Prince Leonard, who was pleased to show us the holograms passport he knows by heart and the buffer passed. The night after the halt outside Australia, there is a campground in the rain to get to the next Kalbarry Nationnal Park. With hindsight, this park was not the prettiest. Roads were closed due to very poor condition.
Branch Monkey Mia where you can observe dolphins, beach shells and especially the turquoise sea. We stayed there two days during which it enjoys the sunshine and the lagoon and the visit of the park where you can watch the dolphins. Unfortunately, visiting the dolphins is more like a Disney show has a walk in nature, but dolphins are there and it is still fun to see them.
Cecile and Fabian are crossed, but it is time for us to go to Carnarvon. Carnarvon magical city where nothing happens (I hate this city). Along the way, Carnarvon is presented as the El Dorado of seasonal work, everyone goes there in the hope of a job .... While I do my research to get more lift in the North, Julian and the Japanese looking for work. After 80 farms, no job .... After three days a farmer called to hire, we went there, he introduced the work ... he asks me if I want to work, I feel the scam, full nose, I say no. Others agree, Julian worked for 2 hours at $ 18 cash in hand (at the plant potato, I paid $ 17 an hour). Finally, only two Japanese too happy to get a job remain bumps. Julian decides to proceed, then I would follow in the North. The day before leaving, we are joined by Remi and Fedi, we continue the journey together.
The next step in Coral Bay, we meet Cecile and Fabien who leave, but we advise to turn the kayak to the barrier reef. The next morning, beach and diving. Mask and snorkel on his head, I plunged from the beach to explore the seabed. Rays of two meters, colorful fish, but it's nothing compared to our kayak out in the afternoon. Closer to the reef beyond the color of the water, there are thousands of colorful fish, turtles, two kinds of sharks, rays, coral shapes and colors ....
After having used this stop diving, it hits the road for one of the most beautiful national park in Australia. Karijinii. We stop at the information center of Tom Price, one of the gateways of the park. We take all the information, because the water supply, food. It takes a muddy road of 60km for us to make a parking lot near the gorge was the first visit.
Remi and Fedi lost, they are joining us after 100km detour on the muddy track. Others who have made the same mistake just share our campfire.Two French (Ludo: pirate Quiberon and Coco) and two Belgian (Nouna and Emi). The evening before the fire marks the beginning of a national park visit four vans.
Ludo who has done us through the gorges and pools of the park. We spend all our time together. The afternoon visit with deep gorges bathing in natural pools, views of the Gorge, different landscapes in every glance ... In the evening, pancakes ... Ludo is that it sticks.
This morning, we all hit the road to Port Hedland, drink one last shot in a bar in the city or we let (you go to Broome and on the east coast). I must now accelerate my journey in Darwin is 3000 km, I still have things to visit on the West Coast before the New Zealand.

Awesome pictures guys. I really love the outbacks of Australia. Although most of my visits to the country is for business, there will be sometime for traveling. But not as long and as good as the experience that you guys had. I am envious. ;)
